Sarà un ponte ideale fra passato e presente quello di David Byrne sul palco insieme a Brian Eno per presentare il nuovo disco, autoprodotto e pubblicato nell’agosto del 2008: Everything That Happens Will Happen Today. Un anno di lavoro per l’ex Talking Heads a scrivere, arrangiare e suonare il disco fra New York e Londra.

Il disco è disponibile in streaming e si può acquistare all’indirizzo everythingthathappens.com. In futuro sarà disponibile anche un formato CD con contenuti extra ed una versione Deluxe con la copertina firmata da Stefan Sagmeister.

David Byrne prepara il nuovo tour dal titolo Songs od David Byrne and Brian Eno (Everything that happens will happen will happen on this tour) che vedrà protagonista i due musicisti in Italia ad Aprile 2009:

20 Aprile – Verona – Teatro Filarmonico ore 21.00
